A fairly deep understanding of the system database is mandatory if you are going to successfully convert data into information.  Over the years, I have developed my own tools and systems to learn and document the MAX database and I would like to share them with you.

The Structure Importer tool extracts database information from the MAX database and stores it in a Microsoft Access database where descriptions can be added to the table, field and enumeration levels.  Views, stored procedures and triggers may also be defined.  

My version of the "MAX Database Reference Guide" provides details for every internal MAX table, fields within the table and enumerations within the fields.   Use it in your day to day database administration, custom application development and/or report development process.

I have provided a sample in "Downloads" below.  The full version of the "MAX Database Reference Guide"  updated for MAX v5.6.1 is over 375 pages.
